Hi! I am Natalia Francisco a therapist who loves supporting kids and teens. I am dedicated to helping youth find who they are and manage stressors. I have a ton of energy and love getting on the floor to hangout and work through tough conversations, all while having fun, of course. I am a kid at heart and throughout my academic and counseling career I have been inspired by so many, with an overall message of meet clients where they are and watch them grow.
Natalia utilizes a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her treatment of youth to address challenges with peers, school, and family. Her clients often describe her as direct yet gentle, employing therapeutic challenges and play to engage children and adolescents in growth and healing. Natalia incorporates the youths’ interests into sessions to create a safe space that promotes self-growth and the development of healthy coping strategies related to their interests. Her goal through therapy is to provide a space where youths can gain strategies and self-understanding to mitigate the effects of current life stressors and prepare them for success in managing future stressors as they grow. Natalia believes that early engagement with youth helps plant the seeds for success and a better understanding of themselves and others in their daily lives. Her areas of specialization include the treatment of depression, anxiety, self-compassion, self-confidence, executive functioning, trauma, and understanding attachment and developmental stages.
