Being someone others depend on doesn’t mean you always feel like you have everything handled. You may feel capable at work while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you need in your personal life. You don’t have to have the right words to begin therapy. I aim to meet you where you are and work alongside you, taking time to understand what you’re carrying. Together, we can make room for difficult feelings, recognize your strengths, and find ways to help you feel more connected to yourself and the people in your life.
Andrew Jablonski works with adults, with a particular interest in supporting men, veterans, and people in high stress technical fields. He earned his Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Alongside his therapy practice, Andrew works as a network engineer. He also served for ten years in the Air National Guard. These experiences inform his interest in supporting people who are accustomed to solving problems, being dependable, and managing challenges on their own.
Andrew works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. He also welcomes those who find it difficult to express their feelings or needs, or who feel disconnected despite appearing to have things together. His style is casual and conversational, with a willingness to be direct and practical when helpful. Andrew takes time to understand each client’s experiences and goals, balancing emotional exploration with attention to everyday challenges. His approach is informed by Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), in which he has attained Level 1 status. He emphasizes a supportive therapeutic relationship where clients can explore difficult feelings at a manageable pace, feel less alone, and recognize their capacity for growth.

More About Me
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, reading, and spending time with my wife and daughter. One of the things I love about jiu-jitsu is the combination of mental and physical challenges, there’s always something to work on and learn.
What do you like to read?
My favorites are fantasy and nonfiction. I enjoy getting immersed in an imagined world as much as exploring ideas and learning something new.
Do you enjoy traveling?
Yes! I enjoy traveling with my family and exploring new places together. This past summer, we visited Greece and Poland.
What does a good day off look like for you?
Spending time with my wife and daughter, enjoying a family activity, and finding some time for a good book. I also enjoy getting in some jiu-jitsu training when I can.
What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?
Alongside my work as a therapist, I work full time as a network engineer. I also served for ten years in the Air National Guard. Each of these roles has shaped my perspective and how I connect with people.
